i would get rid of the tiger barbs and the whiptail cat fish.. the genral rule is you take the adult size of the fish and the gallons of the tank so lets say you have a school of 6 fish whos adult size is 2 inches thats 12 total inches 20-12=8 inches left. the barbs are two agressive for the tetras and dainos. and proubably would be better in a 29 gallon and in a group of at least 5. the whiptail gets longer bigger but im not sure if you would have to get rid of it,. the cory would be happier in a group.. i would stick with neons get two more dainos, and then get rid of the barbs cory and cat fish and get some ghost shrimp or some type of smaller shrimp since they will scavange and eat algea and wont affect the bio load. cherry shrimp are attractive but can be pricy ghost shrimp are normaly cheap and have there own beauty in a way, how much water are you changing every week
