I have 4 different 29 gallon tanks. I'll put my stocking schemes on here for you and maybe you'll get some ideas from it.

Tank#1 Tetras!
3 Black skirts, 3 Long Finned Serpae, 8 Neons, 4 Glowlights, 3 Pristella, 6 Corys

Tank #2 Angelfish
2 Angelfish, 6 hatchetfish, 6 rummynose tetras, 4 corys

Tank #3 Mexican Firemouths
2 Mexican Firemouths, 4 Swordtails

Tank #4 New World Cichlids
2 Bolivian Rams, 2 Keyhole Cichlids, 3 White Skirt Tetras, 6 Black Neon Tetras, 4 Corys

I hope that this gives you some ideas. Some of these tanks are stocked pretty full, so you just have to really keep up on the water changes. I do 75% water changes once a week. Let me know what you decide to do

I like active fish. Maybe u would consider a school of Zebra Danios or Hatchetfish for activity in the upper region, platies or another livebearer species for the middle regions, and a school of cories for the lower regions.
