30 Gallon Community/Mixed Fish

I am eager to get my 30 gallon tank this christmas!
I still am thinking of what fish to put in it. All i know is that i want 4 otto's
any suggestiions would be appreciated

Im not sure i have been looking at rainbow fish and stuff idk lol haha

well, 4-5 rainbows would do okay in there...along with a bristlenose pleco to keep everything clean (that'd be all you could have in that tank)

3 Rainbow
2 Pearl Goruami
1 Blue Grourami
1 Bristle nose pleco

i think that might be overstocked....maybe some type of livebearer..platys come in many colors and area nice size..guppies are nice to..but if you were to mix them you would have to deal with fry..if you wanted to keep them........and of course my favorite SHRIMP.....i just love shrimp but..really you should find what you want to lean for..but that combo sounds pretty good..but i do think thats overstocked but i havent done the for sure math so you should double check..rember 1 inch per gallon..and its always good to leave extra room

if you want schooling fish, then i would leave out the bigger fish as they dont like fast-moving fish
so you could do 2 schools of 6 fish
-or-
mix of pearls and rainbows

and pick between corys and pleco, as you don't need that many bottomfeeders...i would recommend the bn pleco since it eats algae and leftover food

the blue gourami would need a bigger tank as it grows to 6"-7" and they like to be in pairs

i'm still not a big fan of gouramis, they don't seem to reliable.
I like the tets, danios, and livebearers.
They have different species, color variations and they have great personalities.
