I am one week into cycling my secod tank, a 46 gallon. I want to add live plants to this tank so was wondering if I can add them during the cycle? Any suggestions on what kind of plants and my light is a F30 - 48" long if that makes sense.

All the nice tank pictures with live plants makes e want to do this.

Live plants can be added to a tank anytime. I would suggest low light plants. You will have about 1 watt per gallon over your tank. Here's a couple of links to get you started:
