Cycling for plants

How long do you need to cycle an aquarium for live plants? I just set up a 5 gallon tank 30 min. ago.

If the tank is just for live plants and nothing else, you can add the plants right after the water has cleared of the floating gravel dust if you used gravel. But either way, you can add plants right away.
