Lighting requirements

Hi, I was wondering if I could grow plants in my tank? I have Fluorescent lighting. Thank You!

Do you know what type of wattage and type the bulb is?

If you have flourescent lighting over your tank, you can grow plants. Even a tank with no light over it can grow low light plants. Go to www.plantgeek.net to learn everything you would ever want to know about growing plants in your tank!

What size tank do you have, that will help to see how many watts per gallon you have.
