Looks like Anacharis to me to. Don't know about the white balls as I have never grown them myself but it will either be the plant flowering?? or it will be some kind of fungus.

I don't think plants can flower under water, I also think it might be a fungus. Not too sure. Where is Nate and Mathas, hmm...

Some plants can flower underwater but I don't know about these ones in particular. I've had various anubius flower below the waterline & a red tiger lotus flower underwater to. Not quite sure how I got the lotus to flower underwater as it really shouldn't have.

every time i try and take a picture of the algae on them it turns out blurry. whatever it is seems to be on all the plants i have. it almost looks like ICH on the plants but it comes right off if there is a current.

Could it be trash?) Algae doesn't usually come off that easily

Are you feeding the fish any small granules? I get that in my betta tanks if I put too many morsels of food and they don't eat it. The morsels float down to the plants and form a white fuzz around it. I have to suck the fuzz balls out once a week so it doesn't mess up the water quality.
I tried to take a picture of one but of course there aren't any today!
Sorry

i don't feed my fish that much and if any food falls to the ground the majority of the fish pick it up. i can try feeding them less and see if that works.

If the food is being consumed, than it's not necessary. I'm just trying to think "outside the box". Sorry

Hello FishingMan. Chances are that the white fuzz balls on your plants is white hair algae. I suggest just removing it with your finger. It's very common in newly established aquariums. Too, there is a good possibility it will return until it runs it's course. Some fish may even nibble at it and eat. Don't be surprised if it starts showing up on ornaments and your gravel as well. Gravel vacuums will help.
Although it may not look too nice, it's not harmful and should go away in time along with your tank maintenance.
Best wishes and have a great weekend!

This plant appears to be Proserpinaca palustris or Marsh Mermaidweed.(or another variation of the plant)
The white bits appear to be seeds. I came across this while researching another plant and I said "HEY!! I know that plant!" Hope this helps.

Different plants Nate. The leaves on the one you have posted are longer & thinner with ruffled edges. The big difference is that there is only one leaf off each node in your pic. The originally posted pic has fatter shorter leaves with a rubbery appearance & smooth edges. There are also multiple leaves coming from each node. Even allowing for variation in leaf color & shape because of different care & lighting it is different. The number of leaves from each node won't change no matter what the lighting. Have a closer look at the two & you will see they are very different plants.
