Co2 Generator issues

I have a semi-DIY system set up. I am using the venturi pump and the canister that came with this set: http://www.bigalsonline.com/BigAlsUS...o2biogenerator
but I had to get new Co2 tubing (it's special for Co2 use) because the cat chewed up the old one. ><; I have a gatorade bottle between the canister and the pump; I drilled two small holes in the cap and yanked the tubing through them with plyers.
At first bubbles were coming out of the pump, but after a little bit they stopped. I can see Co2 flowing through the tubing (it's see-through green), but it isn't able to make it all the way to the pump.
What can I do? Forgive me if I haven't clarified anything; ask any questions you like!

The first thing I'm wondering is how you can see the co2 going up the tubing? It's an invisible gas.
As for what's wrong, you will have a leak somewhere. Most likely from the gatorade sump that you added. Recheck all the seals around the airline. If you have trouble finding the leak, submerge the sump & the generator in a bucket of water, yuo will see where the bubbles are coming from.
There is of course the option that the mixture has simply stopped producing enough co2 to push through to your diffuser.
I don't much like these commercial co2 units, you will get better results from using yeast & sugar. Preferably with a 2lt coke bottle or similar for a generator.

Well, when I say I can 'see it', I mean there seems to be... something see-through attempting to get into the pump through the tube, and not quite making it. My tubing is see-through Co2 tubing.
I do use yeast and sugar and water in the canister.

The clear stuff in the tubing is probably just water from the tank starting to back siphon towards the generator. Add a check valve to the co2 line if you don't have one installed already. That will prevent water from back siphoning into the sump & generator when the mixture does run out of puff. It sounds like either the co2 mis has come to the end of it's life or you have a leak somewhere that is allowing the gas to escape before it gets to the tank.
Give the generator a good shake up & see if that gets the co2 running into the tank. If it does then the mixture is probably running out. If it doesn't then the mixure is either totally dead or you definitley have a leak somewhere.

When did you start your batch? Are you talking about a bubble coming out of your first bubble but then you don't see bubbles going in to your tank?

Thanks, Nutter. I bet it is water; gotta be. I'm going to take the pump out and put rubber silicone (for aquariums) around the tubing. I'll also put it around the other tube connections.
Eiginh, I started this batch earlier in the week, so it probably is a leak. I don't see any bubbles coming out.

You won't need to apply silicone anywhere after the generator & sump assuming the end of the co2 line is inside your tank below the water line. The co2 can only be escaping from the generator or the sump. After that there is nowhere for the gas to escape unless you have the end of the line outside your tank or thier is a small hole or split in the line itself, which is rater unlikely. Unless the cat has been at it again!!

Well, I applied the silicone to all the connections. It was kind of loose where it connected to the pump, so I did that just in case. The cat hasn't been near it since, unless she has phantom powers (which I actually wouldn't put past her, haha), so hopefully this will work!
Thanks for your help =)

Remember you can't apply new silicone to old silicone!

First time putting silicone on this tubing. How come you can't apply new to old, though? Curious.
