How fast does java moss grow? I had heard it grows very slow but you girls seem to have it growing quite fast. I have some coming. Would it grow on white PVC pipe or is that to slippery?

It grows VERY slowly in the first 2-3 weeks. But after that it rockets and needs trimming at least once every 3 weeks. At Least that's how it grows in my tank .
It might grow on a PVC pipe. You would just need to put a rubber band around the moss and pipe so the moss will eventually attach itself.

it depends, I have lowlight/deep tanks with NO plant additives, and my moss seems to grow at a medium pace (trim every other month or so) If I were to throw a little FlourishExcel in there and get better lighting it would grow lightning fast

I forgot to add I don't use any supplements or CO2. It's just the minerals in my tap I guess.
