I have a 65G community tank, I am lookking for fast growing plants that the sevrum might not eat so fast that the plant is gone in a few days/week.

Any ideas?

Severums are big plant eaters. So they can eat all types of plants. If you have C02 and strong lighting, then your plants will grow a lot faster. Meaning your severum wouldn't be able to destroy your plants before they grow back.

I tried my severum with all kinds of plants with no luck. Not only did he eat them but he uprooted them and dragged them around the tank. He even attacks his plastic plant, lol. I wouldn't advise any live plants in a tank with a severum, but then again every fish is different.

Wow your severum did that much damage in your tank?? Mine just made lots of holes in my Amazon Swords. And then it just ate some of the plants and then that's it. Although it couldn't really uproot them since my amazon swords have been rooted in the gravel for so long. I've had silver dollars that couldn't really eat my Amazon Swords, but they could eat everything else.
