Aponogeton flowers

I have an Aponogeton ulvaceus plant. I bought it a few weeks ago with only a few snail chewed leaves on it. I put it in my 90 gallon angelfish tank and it took off like crazy. It has about 20 nice looking new leaves and a 3 foot flower stalk. Do I have to remove the flower stalk? I would like to cultivate the plant, seeing as my local pet store imported it for me, but not if the original will die in the process. Also, has anyone grown bladderwort in a tropical tank? I have some growing right now in a 10 gallon native fish stream tank at 70 degrees, but I would like to grow it in 79 degree water with the angelfish. It looks nicer than and grows nicer than Myrophillum. Would it work? It came from a local lake that's about 65 degrees.

I don't know if this plant is self-pollinate, if not of course, then you have to identify male/female flowers for cross-pollination. Unless it is one of those rare plants that dies after it flowers and pollinates/germinates - this does not read like one - let the flower stay and see if it pollinates.

Try these two links:
