What plant is this?

Hey guys,

so yesterday i went to my LFS and they finally had some plants in and growing well, so i quickly lashed out and grabbed myself 2 bundles of assorted plants. i devided them up and tied them down to rocks/driftwood but then some questions popped into my head.

what are these plants and can they actually attach themselves to anything? when i baught them they where planted in the gravel so im somewhat confused.

heres some pics of them and ty for your time.

My thoughts:

The bundle with the broad leaves seems made with cuts from the upper part (closest to surface) of Hygrophilla difformis. They were likely kept in a well lit tank (they might grow that large in direct sunlight in the tropics).

I keep them but I can tell you that this is the plant, among those I have tried, that really suck up nutrients in the water column fastest. They need high light but if kept in large numbers, can deplete trace minerals in no time, specially in smaller tanks.

You can tell whether they lack nutrients or not by noticing if the leaves closer to substrate are decaying.
