| If you want a live floating plant that looks like a floating plant, (as opposed to the stem of a plant gone afloat), you could look for red root floaters. I've rarely seen them at stores, but they show up from time to time, are dirt cheap and look great. I found a single 'care sheet' online that claims they're hard to care for, but I've had the opposite experience. With low light and no CO2/fertilizer it's grown nicely and kept its color. I read that it spreads fast, but at the rate it's going it'll take over a month, I think, for it to cover my 55 gallon. |
