hi all,

we have got 10 tiger barbs in a sparsely planted 20 gallon tank. we are looking to densify it a bit, after reading that the barbs prefer more plants as it is how they live naturally. what is the best plan for this without cramping too much of their swimming space? thanks in advance for the input!

Good morning and Welcome to Fish Lore. If you'll put tall plants in the back and short ones up front it will give them swimming room and places to hide as well. If you get a chance and have the means we'd love to see some pictures of your tanks. Have a good weekend!
