Heavily planted betta tank

I want to turn one of my 10 gal. divided betta tanks into a heavily planted tank. I would love it to be a natural filtering tank.
What plants are best to use in a 10 gal. The WPG is pretty high b/c the tank is small, so that's helpful.
I need plants that are nearly IMPOSSIBLE to kill, I'm not very good at keeping aquatic plants alive.
Also, I was thinking of ordering off of Sweetaquatics.com, since none of my LFS carry plants. Well, one Petco carries some Val & amazon sword in a large planted tank. But I understand that swords get HUGE. I tried anacharis, I killed that in like a week.
Thanks for the help!

Anacharis does better as a floating plant in my experience.
Try crypts, anubias, java ferns, java moss... those plants are really easy to keep. Thing is, they grow slowly so aren't very likely to help with nutrient export.

Harpua's suggestions are all good My favorite planted betta tank was very simple...it was stuffed full of java fern. I loved the lushness (is that a word?) and simplicity of it.

Are there any "grassy" plants that can be kept in a 10 gal.?

Pygmy chain sword can (I've read) be 'teased apart' from its bunch and will look a bit like grass.

I'm loving the look of crypts in my 5g betta tanks, especially the fish swimming among the stalks...I managed to kill two kinds of vals in three days though (apparently, don't plant things like that close to your heater).

Wow, I never had that problem... when I kept discus I had the tank FULL of vals, they grew like crazy even around the heaters. I kept the tank at 85F!

Amanda- for grassy plants, you may have some luck with dwarf sagittaria. I've never been able to keep pygmy chain sword (or dwarf chain sword, for that matter).
