Pruning?

There are some dead, brown leaves on both of my amazon swords. I'm guessing I should clip them off somehow, but I wasn't sure. Should I leave them, or what?
If I do need to get rid of them, should I just rip them off?
Thanks.

You should snip them off with a pair of clippers or scissors.

dont leave anything rotting or browing..it can cause decay and a rise in ammonia ...whatever you use, (beth has some great adivce) make sure you boil them first

If its a little leaf I just use my fingernails to "clip" it. basically pinch it off.

i use a pair of nail scissors to do my trimming. they are just for the aquarium. i think its better to use really sharp scissors to get a nice clean cut.

Be sure and trim the leaf all the way down to the base to encourage new leaves.
