Carpeting low growing plant.

Hello everyone, I am looking to get some low growing plant that I could use to carpet the front of my tank. My LFS advised me that they are hard to grow and even suggested not to order them. I guess I am looking for some advice on what type of carpeting plant I should get. I have coral life double t 5 light fixture with 28 watts bulbs. I use flourish tabs and liquid. I use the liquid flourish 5 ml. twice a week. I use flourish Iron 5 ml. everyday. Flourish excel five days a week. I figure I give you guys my fertilizer schedule so I can give you some background. My other plants look good I have no problems with them. I keep Anubias, Amazon swards, java fern and a few vals and cabombas. I am looking for something that I could take care of. Please feel free to post suggestions I really like to see some pics of anyone with a carpeting plants on there tanks.

I have had no luck with carpet-like plants. Because they're at the bottom of the tank, they need pretty powerful lights, and because they tend to be fast-growing, they need a decent amount of CO2 in the tank.
One that I really like the looks of and will be trying to grow it again is Hemianthus Callinthrodes. It's a bit expensive, as it only recently became legal in the US (it's a Cuban plant, illegal to import from Cuba), but it's really cool stuff.

With rams and corys in the tank, you may have issues keeping a carpeting plant rooted long enough to really establish itself... I know I did

That said, in addition to sirdarksol's suggestion, the following are also popular carpeting plants:

Echinodorus tenellus - http://www.plantgeek.net/plant-217.htm
Glossostigma elatinoides - http://www.plantgeek.net/plant-120.htm
Marsilea minuta - http://www.plantgeek.net/plant-287.htm
