| Yes, plants are easy.
JUst take them out the aquarium and place into a bag, the water on the plants will be enough for them to survive in for several days. I usually wrap the bags of plants in some newspaper to help insulate and protect them, place in box and ship away.
Most plants do fine with USPS priority mail although if you want to spend the extra money for express thats fine.

do you have anubias, java fern, anacharis, water sprite, or wisteria?
...or crypts? Last edited by prairielilly; May 26th, 2009 at 10:57 PM.

| You don't have enough light for ludwigia, but you could keep pennywort as a floating plant in your 10 gallon if you want. I keep it floating in my 8 gallon low light tank (11W PC) and it's doing great, and it looks really cool. |

| With the anubias, crypts, and java fern it would be totally fine. |

| If you ship live creatures (I think this includes plants, but I'm not positive) across the country's border, you need a special permit. This way, they can be a bit more sure you're not shipping invasive species or otherwise illegal things. |

| Thanks Shawnie, I didn't know that.
If bacteria is considered a living creature for this purpose, plants almost certainly are. |

| Pretty sure live stuff over the border does have issues...coffeebean and I are both in Canada though
I had a good look at my java fern this morning - it has babies all over it too. Hmmm. |
