i know that its normally wattsxgallons=WPG, but my problem is that im running CFLs. whats my WPG running 3 bulbs at 14w used / 60w equivalent bulbs?

its the flourescent watt amount so its only 42w on the tank.

I would say you use the wattage equivalent of what ever the bulb puts out..IMO thats how it would work....It don't matter how much it uses it only matters too what it puts out...Rob

no actually the amount it uses because the big flourescent lights specificly for aquariums don't say their equivelant, so its the amount put out or aka the flourescent watts
