Plant Substrates

Ok, I'd pretty much settled on Eco-Complete as the substrate I was going to use for my tanks and then I come across Baylee's Better Bottom Gravel and Sand substrate for planted tanks.

I'm asking for any info you have on either product. Which have you used? Did you need to supplement with that substrate? How do the two compare?

Thanks!

I'll be watching this thread because I have the same question. I was going to go with eco then found BBB...For those of you who don't know what it is...Here is a link.

I would be hesitant myself. They say it contains nutrients but they dont give any more info.
I do have another question though ...anyone ordered anything from baylees? They have some decent deals for plants!

I love Baylees. They have great deals and from what I've heard super healthy plants. They have a awesome reputation so if that's what they use for their plants I would see no harm in it. I've decided to use BBB. I bought sponge filters from him and he's a super nice guy. Great communication and shipped out SUPER fast.

Edit:
It's like the Bush's baked bean commerical...They don't want you to know the famiily secrete.
