fake plants

are they really a good idea? if not what are some good beginner plants that can be planted in gravel.

Plastic plants are a good idea in any aquarium. They add to the authenticity of the tank.
But live plants have many ++ points - they take out bad substances from your water, and add O2.
Java fern, java moss, anubias, anacharis, amazon sword are some easy plants to grow.

I have all fake except java moss..I cant grow any plant in a tank

but in the house im great
