You can get whatever you like with that much light. I just got some creeping jenny that I think is super cool looking! You could get chain sword as well or hair grass.

What type of lighting is that though, depending on the type you may also get lots of algae if you do not balance the right amount of light with the correct amount of ferts, and plants.

Also what type of pleco do you have, a large pleco in that small of tank could do damage to your plants when it swims around.

it is a common pleco but it is only an inch long. i am upgrading to a 55-90 gal at tax time. i have plant bulbs or reguler white bulbs. the plant bulbs aren't very bright so i am probly going back to the white bulbs. i have not used any ferts, or co2. do you think i need to?

I would at the very least use a liquid fertilizer. Actually that's all I do right now for my 75 and it seems to be working out great so far. I'm looking into Co2 right now but am still on the fence about it.

For what............? the fert or the Co2?

I have plain inert gravel so there are no nutrients for the plants in my gravel. I have to substitute that with some liquid fertilizer.

Co2 helps the plants grow as well.

Sweet can't wait for the pics! It's just a suggestion as that's what has worked for me so far, but whatever works for you by all means go ahead.
