What do you think? And thanks again Carol!

Well i took some pics last week and was wondering what you think of my planted tank?

Also I wanted to give a big thanks to Carol-butterfly for sending me some free cuttings!!! That was so very kind and I wanted to give an update and to how some of those plants are doing! My son just loves our tanks even more so now with real plants in them!

Carol sent me some java ferns and some java fern wendelov, and some water sprites and an anubias nana!

I'm so proud that everythings is still alive and doing pretty good I think!

My favorite was that water sprite one arrived with just 2 leaves I think and they turned brown and I was ready to pitch it but noticed a new leaf forming and it's got about 4 leaves or so on it now and the other was maybe a little bigger than a half doller and it's now as big as my hand with my fingers spread wide open! It's beautiful!

And the anubias nana has several new leaves and so does the java ferns!! The java fern wendelovs are still very green but still small for some reason. Do they grow slowly?

I need to take some better pics and most of these were taken to ask if my molly is pregnant again.

I now have 3 other anubias plants and some java moss and pennywort too which I love! It's planted in the back right and as of today it's grown up and all the way over to the left front corner! I need to clip it and replant some in our other 2 tanks!

When I take some more new pics i'll post them here two and try to get better shots of the plants!

Thanks

cindy

CindyJ looks like it's coming along nicely. I wish I could get free clippings **hint hint**

musicman4567 the plant growing in the corner is either Marsh Pennywort or Brazillian Pennywort

SOF I've been looking to see what I've got that was on your list and it is about time to clip again
Cindy as you know I was afraid the water sprite would die in transit. I'm so glad it came back, it fascinates me how it just keeps adding leaves around the edges and gets so big.
The Java Fern "Wendelov" does tend to grow really slow(even slower than reg JF) for some reason. They were really tiny anyway. By summer they will have grown hopefully
The tank looks really nice, glad I could help

Can that water sprite be attached a rock or is it better to plant in the gravel?

I think I might take a couple starts off to leave floating but then plant the big one.

That oakleaf watersprite is so neat the way it grows! That's definately my favorite!

lol

Cindy it can be planted in the gravel or left to float. I don't think it will attach to rock as the roots are too soft.

That's exactly what I needed to know! Thank you!

Now I just need to figure out where to put it!

Maybe i'll move the ship to the other side and trim back the pennywort but put the ship in front of the pennywort and plant the watersprite right in the middle at the back! And then find places for the other stuff!

Who knows how it will turn out but one of these days i'll give that a try! I'm just not great at getting all the roots burried real good so I only want to have to do this once but if I move the ship then it'll be hard to plant more pennywort if I need to. UGH! I'm obvoiusly gonna have to give this more thought!

Thanks!
