ID this plant?

So, I got this plant with a bag of cherry shrimp and it has since decided to dominate my tank. Anyone have any clue what it is so I can sell off about half of it? Thanks much!

Check out the plants here: http://plantgeek.net/plantguide.php

I would be interested with buying some PM with price and I will PM you with my zipcode for shipping rates.

Awesome site! I haven't seen that one before. At any rate, as far as I can tell, it is Ceratophyllum submersum, or Hornwort. That makes sense as it is a low light plant that grows faster with more light. I have a 50w light on a 15 gal tank... seems like alot of light... At any rate, it's a floating plant unless you anchor it somewhere.

Yep, looks like hornwort to me. I had some and it did horrible in my tanks... the little needles went everywhere, lol.

Weird. The needles are all well attached on mine. it's well cared for by the army of cherry shrimp in there...

It is Hornwort... mine began to die off horribly too! After a huge, rapid growth it began to die... it was a pain to clean though. I had some branches still alive and it seems to be growing back though. Great plant, but also invasive so make sure you trim it!

That is definetly Hornwort. It has taken over 1/5 of my 120 gallon tank and with weekly cuttings being placed back in the tank,it looks like a jungle. I like it but what a mess it makes to the gravel and the filters. I don;'t know how many times it has clogged up my python but alot of fish hide in it.

It got so out of hand that I had to start placing the cuttings in the 55 gallon. It sure loves CO2.

It does a wonderful job of sucking up excess nitrates too. Makes it so I can keep more shrimp in that tank than I should be able to...
