Question: Plant Bulbs

I am not sure of you guys already have a thread for this topic. There was so much info out there I did not know where to look. I bought a small box of aqurium plant bulbs to try out. I planted a couple of bulbs in my tank a few weeks ago and I do not see anything growing. I think I waisted my money but I thought before I throw the rest of the bulbs out I would check here to see if there was a thread on aqurium bulbs. I never attempted this before but it seemed like a neat idea to try. Is there any threads or info for growing bulbs??

Do you know what kinds of bulbs you have?
I wouldn't be too quick to throw them out. They can be very rewarding if you are patient with them. I bought some "mystery bulbs" and they ended up being beautiful Tiger Lotus bulbs. Some do take longer than others and different types of care. Are they getting enough light, fertilizer, CO2, etc.?

The Package says betta Plant Bulbs from Top Fin. It also says the package includes 3 Aponogeton bulbs. I only planted a couple of bulbs from the package. There are several bulbs left. How much light do they need and what kind of fertilizer?
