Best plants to keep in fw 20 gal?

I have Hatchets, Otos and am planning to get some Cory Cats. I will be completely new to keeping live plants in the aquarium. I have saved the article on their care that I found on this site, but I am just wondering what you all would think are the plants that my fish would like the most and that are the easiest to care for (the hardest to screw up :P I worry too much).
For example, I'd likely get hornwort or cabomba for the Hatchets, but I don't have much of a clue what the Corys and Otos would prefer.
Also, I don't know much about lighting, and would probably use the light that comes with the hood of the tank.

You can't go wrong with Anubias and Java Fern. They are easy and fish love them. Also, the Anubias blooms flowers sometimes. It is a very rewarding plant to have. When I first started with live plants, I checked www.plantgeek.net
It is a very helpful website. They have scientific names, common names, pictures, care requirements, etc. Also, there are different ways to look for the plants that would fit your needs; by light requirements, placement in the tank, or just by general care requirements, such as very easy, easy, moderate, difficult, and very difficult. It is a great website.
