Java Moss?

Hello,

what is the best way to plant Java moss in your tank?

You can tie it onto decor, let it float, or do whatever you want really... It's not too picky about where you put it.

It just doesn't "plant" well. It really needs to be attached to something, a rock, wood, or even a Terra Cotta pot

Just do as pinkfloyd and Carol said. 1 thing I would not do (imo) is to let it float around. It always seems to get stuck in the filter.

I have never had any luck with it and just end up tossing it out.

One thing I've done is super-glued (yes, super-glue is aquarium safe!) it to driftwood in order to seed it on. It will start to grow into the log and looks really cool.

I tied some to a rock with a rubber band a couple months ago and tonight when I got into the take I had found that it not only attached it's self to the rock but to the substrate and the pirate ship nearby and also the wall of the tank as well!

It really doesn't take long for it to attach it's lelf to anything. And on my driftwood I just tucked a tiny bit under it, just enough to keep it weighted down and it took right off att aching it's self to the wood!

Good luck!
