Can somebody tell me what kind of algae this is? I didn't have time to take to much care of my tank (50gal) latetly and I had these growing and sticking to the floating plants that I have.

Also, I have a snail infestation (Malaesian Trumphet Snail, after some research here...)

I lost a gourami a couple days ago, and I'm not sure if it was from ICH(from new fish) or due to this kind of algae. The water parameters are good, nitrate at 5.

It's kinda sticky and has a jello like felling to it. It is the dark green stuff that's glued to the plant.
