I have one of those aponogeton bulbs from wal-mart in my tank that is full grown and it has seemed to have sprouted a long stem like thing with three bulb like things coming off of it and each of these bulbs has leaves coming off of them, are these new plants that I can plant or what? the original plant isnt growing anymore leaves. thanks!

Sounds like it's flowering! Wait for the flowers to open, then you can use a small brush to brush each of them to pollinate the flowers.

After the flowers die, seeds will be released. They'll float a bit then drop to the bottom and should grow.

thanks for the help guys! I figured that it was reproducing somehow, just wanted to make sure. I've been doing some research here at school and do you think I should move the plant to a tank without fish? I have an extra 5 gallon tank that I could setup, or should I just leave it alone? thanks again!

id leave it. whatever you're doing in the tank its in now seems to be working!
