First planted attempt-55gal

Since I like slightly overstocked tanks, I've decided to plant the 55 gal that I'm going to be starting in the next couple weeks to help with the nitrates. After some reading I'm planning on some java fern, java moss, and hornwort. If you all have any suggestions for taller species for the back that would be great, or anything else shorter too. I actually just started considering planting today and have quickly decided it's the way to go, so I'm going to be ready to plant withing a week or two (keeping my fingers crossed for a quick cycle with the aid of some safestart). I'm looking for low light and easy to care for on a gravel substrate. I may upgrade lighting, substrate, etc later, but now I'm more focused on the fish.

I also wanted to make sure my future fish aren't going to destroy the plants. I'm planning several types of dwarf gourami, a school of hatchets, rubbernose plecos, cory cats, swordtails, and possibly diamond tetra, but I'm not positive on them yet. Thanks in advance for the advice!

I love my planted tanks. Large amazon swords are very nice-but pricey. I have some bacopa and hygrophilia which seem to grow quickly, rather tall and take limited care! I can't speak to the fishes you want except to say that the swordtails jump - so make sure your tank is covered well.
Coryd55 says your fish selcetions won't destroy your plants!

Enjoy
