Planting a banana anubias

Silly I cant find this but how do you plant a banana anubias? I know not to bury the rhizome of the anubias species but I attached my other anubias species to drift wood or decorations but I dont see how to do that with this species without it just looking silly. Can I just drop them in? Will it root itself in place? Thanks for the help!

The plant you have is anubias barteri variety nana.
It can be treated just like any other anubias.
They will root themselves just like other anubias.
I know of no banana anubias.

I got a "banana" plant from my LFS a couple weeks ago..not sure what the name is called but it looks like a vine with a big round leaf at the end and where the root is, looks like small banana's...I was told it just floats on the top of the tank LOL ...ever heard of that type of plant?

I just figured nana = banana.

Nana is one of the many commercially ddeveloped types of anubias barteri.

I'm very familiar with Anubias barterI (having a bit myself ) but was curious about the other name. You know I'm always looking for different Anubias

Nymphoides aquatica is the species I have. I was confused, thought it was an anubias species. That would be why I couldnt find it on the old trusty plant geek database.
