Ummm... what are these exactly?

I had a list. I wanted certian specific plants. The pet store only had three of them. (Nana, Coffefolia, Java Fern). So I we started talking, (the guy who was helping me is apparently an aquatic plant junkie), and I left the store with two other plants that I don't remeber what they are. Can you guys try and ID them for me? I think one might be a crypt but I could be wrong.

Note: The plant's I don't know are on the right hand side of the tank by the bell.
Thanks in advance everyone!

The one up front kind of looks like bronze crypt, though the edges look a bit more ruffly than mine. I don't know about the others. The one on the left almost looks like eucalyptus, but that just can't be right.

Red1313, nice looking tank. Sorry I can't help you identify your plants, I'm still learning about them myself.

Sorry to bump this up everyone but I need someone to id the plant in the back corner, (the grassy one). It's not looking so good but I don' know what it is to try and fix it.
sorry, and thanks,
Red

It wasn't listed as something like Mondo Grass, was it? Or did it have Japonica in its name? If so, it's not aquatic, and that's why it's dying. The stuff can tolerate being submerged for a bit (probably a lowland Japanese or Chinese plant, subjected to periodic flooding), but it will eventually die if kept underwater.

May be a type of Valilsneria, probably Jungle or Italian. http://www.plantgeek.net/plantguide_...ia&type=Search The other looks like a bronze or red type of crypt wendetii .

I don't know what it was listed as. But it was completely submerged in the store and they had a lot of it and I've seen it there for a while I think. It was a fairly rigid feel to it compared to the other plants in the tank. I could try getting a better pic of it if that would help.

I did a water test last night... the problem with the plant might be due to the following:
KH = 90-100
GH = 160
pH= 7.8

Am I right about that? I was going to make it a seperate thread but I figured I may as well add it onto this one.

Your Crypt is a Cryptocoryne Undulata, I have one in my 10g. It started out about the size of yours and is now the center peice in my tank. The other looks like Giant Hairgrass (Eleocharis montevidensis). But I'm not sure. It is not a Val because you said tha it is rigid and Vals are limp. Hope this helps. Great start to your tank, and good luck!
