Just bought some plants online, and i was wondering if they need to be quarantined before adding to the tanks?

I currently have live plants in all my tanks including quarantine tank (so the fishies can hide). Would they be ok to go into the tank which is cycling? Are they likely to have anything that could harm fish or other plants?

I will be using a bleach solution to wash them in before going into any tank (learnt from mistakes, now have snail problem in one tank), should this be enough or should they still be quarantined?

If your going to do a bleach dip before hand to get rid of snails I think you should be able to put them in the other tanks without quarantining them.

I agree.
Though I tend to bleach plants with a 1% solution vs the 5% solution I use to sterilize equipment.

If I see the need I usually use a 19 water/1bleach ratio. I did find that fine leaf plants don't do well with bleach though.
