CO2 advice needed.

Ok so i've finally reached the stage in my planted aquarium where co2 would be of use, but of course i don't need nor want a huge costly setup and have found a semi cheap start. Here is a link of what i'm looking to get, only thing that has me stumped is that i keep hearing things about not having to run co2 at night because plants don't need it at that time. This setup seems to run co2 24/7 which someone said isn't a good thing.
So really i want to know if..

A- running co2 all the time is bad.
B- is the setup i'm interested in a decent choice?
C- How would i even turn off my co2 on this setup if running it all night is bad?
D- Any advice would be great.

Thanks.

Actually, I know a number of people who run 24/7 with no issues. but then, they have overgown jungles more than planted tanks. On the small yeas types like you linked to, I would imagine you're fine to let it go overnight. It's not going to be making that much gas. Unless you're feeding a 10 gallon or smaller tank with a lot of fish in it.

Ok great to hear, but here's another question concerning a bubble wall and CO2, can you have a bubble wall running at the sametime as your CO2 or will the BW pretty much cancel out the CO2 entering?

Advanced CO2 systems can be turned off at night as long as the pH fluctation is minimal. But, turning off a Yeast based reactor like the one in the link might cause the canister to break or blow,. It also dumps huge amounts of CO2 when turned on. So for this safety (primary) reason, keep it on 24 hrs.

The effect of Bubble walls or any surface agitation isn't good for CO2 retention. Keep the CO2 diffuser in a place where there is either one or where the effect is minimal.

Wll i went out and bought it, set it all up and have had it running 2 days, seems to be a nice simple c02 start.
Thanks for the help and opinions, i've uploaded some pics of my tanks if you care to check'em out.

There are two camps on the "24/7 vs only during the day" issue.
On the one hand, there is the belief that, when plants switch to CO2 production at night, fish can suffer from CO2 poisoning.
On the other hand, there is the concern that turning the CO2 off at night causes a sudden shift in pH as CO2 amounts in the water drop.

I have seen the numbers in a few places, and I've got to say that I'm on the "24/7" end of things. CO2 doesn't actually displace O2 until you get to a very high level, and while there is a shift in pH as CO2 builds at night, this shift is much slower than if you suddenly cut the CO2 off. Add to this the fact that most of your fish are going to be less active at night, anyway, and they'll do fine with the excess CO2.

I've heard that product is good for smaller tanks (like the 33g ones I'm guessing you'll be adding it to).
