Does anyone know off hand if java fern is a root feeder (i.e. needs fertilized substrate or plant food sticks) I dont know its scientific name and was having trouble looking this up. Thanks for any help

Here is a link for java fern information http://plantgeek.net/plantguide_sear...rn&type=Search Since the rhizome shouldn't be planted use a water column fertilizer if you feel you need to. I find I feed mine about once a week and that is it.
