Newbie Low Light plants

hey i have a 14g tank that i have had set up for a short while now... i get about 1.3 wpg and i was wanting to put maybe some java moss and 1-2 broad leaf plants... maybe some kind of anubias... but i am kind of worried because i have tetras and i am trying to keep some current and aeriation... not much but enough to move the water a bit... can anyone recomend a slightly low maintanence and easily maintained combination of plants maybe that would fit in with the amazonian theme...

Java Fern and Java moss will live with that light.

You can try an anubias as well and a cryptocoryne might survive, but don't quote me on that!

These plants won't grow much but may do okay, and they are basically no maintenence at all!

Java Ferns are really the best bet. There are a couple different kinds and are quite attractive. Your fish will enjoy them.

ok... from what i have seen i kinda want to try some java moss on a piece of rock (i would do a piece of driftwood but i don't know how to prepare them...) and a crypt, maybe a java fern if i can find one that doesn't stretch out too far... oh and definately an anubias (i have a fake on right now and all my fish prefer it to the fake thin leave plants...

ok with these plants in mind how would i go about planting them... i know the moss needs a porous rock, but do i need pots for the rest? i currently have regular old gravel in the bottom and i kind of like it that way... also am i going to need some kind of fertilizer and if so what kind... also does the hardness affect any of these plants too much.... i don't really have a test for it and i really dont feel like paying for it... i will if i really need it but i am trying to avoid it at all cost... how much will these spread out... because of the tank size i cant afford too much space... but i really want to go fully planted and take the fake ones out and maybe use them to start a new tank...
