Using bubble wall in planted tanks

I have a bubble wall in my new 30g planted. I also just added a natural CO2 canister. Do the bubbles ultimately raise or lower the CO2 levels in the tank? Should I remove the bubble wall to raise the levels, or maybe get a smaller one as this one is pretty big. I like the way it looks so I'd prefer to keep it, but not if its causing me to lose all of my CO2.

Thanks

If you are injecting CO2, I would not run the bubble wall, as it will gas out the CO2 faster.

Basically, the bubbles increase the surface area which increases the rate at which the gases in the air and water equalize.

Any surface movement will cause the CO2 your injecting to come out of the water faster as the CO2 in the air and water try to equalize like NEN said

I switch off my airpumps during the day, and leave them on at night.
