Guideto Live Plants in Tank

guys i dunno if this troubles me only but i have alot of difficulty putting live plants into my tank the only way i can keep them down is putting like 2 to 3 rocks around them to keep them down. I dunno if this method is the best way so if here is can someone plz tell me.

If the plants are going in your 20g, it may be that your shark or catfish are uprooting them in search of food. Surrounding them with rock may be necessary, though definitely try the anchors.

no um the plants are to large for them to do so and they r still 2 little. these anchors look really useful. thx

Never underestimate the abilities of a fish with nothing but time. They don't need to be able to immediately uproot a plant to be able to eventually do it by worrying away at the surrounding substrate. For example, even the smallest koi can uproot a well-planted water lily.
Not saying it's happening here, just throwing it out there as a possibility.
