do snails eat java moss and can you keep both together?

Snails will usually not bother java moss.
I am not sure as much to the larger mystery/apple snails, but I know the smaller ones will not eat it.

yeah well ive got a big apple snail and it sometimez looks like hes eatin the moss.

He could actually just be eating algae that's growing on the moss. Check to see if it looks the same or if some is missing when he moves off.

I have pond snails in my tanks with Java Moss, and if anything, they clean algae off my Java Moss

They never eat my Java Moss.
