Anyone keep Vals (any type) 72 degrees year round?

Hi
Has anyone kept Vals any type at 72 degrees year round?

I am going to set up a tank for mud darters.
I have had 4 of them in a 20 gallon for months but going to set up a 55 gallon and semi planted just in a few spots .
They seem to prefer 72 degrees thus plants must thrive at 72 degrees

The Vals look good but I have never kept plants thus best to ask those that have.

Thank you

Sal

I keep all of my plants (including Vals) at around 78F all year round. I keep my temp. at 78F because of my Angels (they like warmer water). All of my plants seem to be doing just fine at 78F. But I *think* 72F should be fine for most aquatic plants as well, including Vals.

You should be fine.
Several vals are temperate plants and will have no problem staying at 72 year round.

I like the grass look of vals reminds me of a nice lawn . I thought they would be okay at 72 but wasnt sure .

Thanks
