Plants getting chewed = help?!

Okay, just set up a community tank with several types of fish. After a week, some of the plants I expected to do well are looking pretty chewed up. I have an idea as to the culprit but wanted to seek a little advice. I think it may be the Longfin Rosy Barb or the Blue Crayfish but it could also be the Red-Blue Colombian Tetra (Blue Fire Tetra), Boesemani Rainbow, Clown Pleco or the Dwarf Gouramis. It seems unlikely it's the Crayfish 'cuz she was in there before most of these other community fish and the plants never seemed to get bothered (although she spawned and molted soon after I got her and the newer plants were added right around the time she came out of hiding in search of food). The plant taking the worst beating is a Red Melon Swordplant. Can someone please provide some insight as to the likely culprit? Thanks much!

plecos will be a little too advantageous when scraping algae off the plant, and get a little bit of the plant too, sometimes.

It could be the Pleco when he's trying to get the algae, and he gets some of the plant too. I don't have much experience with plants (actually, none) yet so I'm not 100% out of all the fish you have which are most likely to eat the plants. One thing I do know though - don't get Silver Dollars!
