I need some plants

I have an eclipse 12G that is cycling now. I believe it comes w/ a 13W buld. I have a fake stump and a plastic plant in there now. I was planning on getting a small silk plant but also wanted something real. Like in front of filter/heater to kind of cover it up. From my reserach this is "low light" What can I plant that will be ok? Iseen a few 6 inch plants at Petsmart(the kind that come in the plastic tubes) Also I kind of like the horn wart. Any suggestions?

Hornwart is good -- just make sure it's accessible, because in low light it'll grow rapidly towards the light and eventually cover half the water surface. It's a good plant to have, though, because it puts out some kind of chemical that prevents blue-green algae from growing.

I got a couple of the 'umbrella' and variated sword plants from PetSmart that come in the tube. The swords have barely hung in there, but the umbrella plants have done great. My otto loves to hang out on them.

I'd say I have about a 60/40% mixture of artificial to live plants in my 10g, and it works fairly well to give a nice aquascape.

Plantgeek is an awesome site.
I like water wysteria. Though it's not technically a low light plant, I have it growing in a low light situation, and it's doing great. In fact, I've had to trim and replant it.
Hornwort is good, too.
If you can afford to get a small piece of driftwood, you could attach java fern/java moss to it and put that in front of the heater. Both of those are beautiful plants and very undemanding.
