Re: what plants 1 & 2

Hey Alan, I've merged your 2 topics into one. Hope you don't mind

As for the plants for your fish ... I don't know. They're big fish and I've read it's hard to have any plants with big fish. I don't know if the fish you have like to eat and destroy plants, but if they do, I've read that Java Ferns taste bitter to plant-eating fish. That's why fish leave this plant out. So maybe you could try Java Fern. This plant grows best when tied to driftwood, or any other decor you may have in your tank. You can tie it using black cotton thread for example.

Re: what plants 1 & 2

Java fern is a good. Depending on the amount of light you have, anacharis or myrmio could be good. Both of them are seen as snacks to fish, but they also grow quickly enough that they might be able to survive the fish's attention (I have a strand of myrmio in my goldfish/koi tank that stays exactly the right size, it's great) Another possibility is anubias. This is another anchoring plant. It's slow growing, and I think I heard somewhere that a lot of fish don't like it.

Isabella's a genie? Ooooh! Oooooh! Do I get three wishes?

Anyway, you can check out Plantgeek, of course.
All I know about it is that mine survived losing all of its leaves (it only had it's bit of root for awhile), is pretty slow growing, it likes to be anchored to rock or driftwood, and is a neat looking plant (big leaves)

Ok, in advance, I am so sorry for doing this, but I can't resist.

You mis-spelled "spelled", "Albert Einstein", and "genius (again)"
:P
