no idea

ok so i went to walmart and they had some aquarium plant bulbs for 2 bucks so i snagged them and rinsed them before i put them in my 2.5 gallon tank. there growing like mad but would it be bad for fish seeing as they release co2 at night? there is a picture attached. no fish are in it yet but im planning on a cory and 2 glodanios which will be added a few weeks apart

Re: no idea

As long as you did more frequent waterchanges the plants, I don't think, would be a problem. I would be more concerned with unhappy danio, as they are a schooling fish and need 4-6 of them together to be happy and really thrive, but a 2.5g is not big enough for that many. I would suggest against putting danio in there at all.
