Re: Any suggestions

Most kinds of Anubias and some Hornwort would probably do well.

If you go to http://www.plantgeek.net and search for low light plants, you can see a very large list of what you can get.

The best known low-light plants are Anubias, Java Fern, and Java Moss. In my personal experience, Water Sprite and Hornwort will grow under low light too.

I've read that java fern should not be planted in the gravel and i don't have any driftwood yet, so can i substitute the driftwood?

This is an excerpt from the article on the top of this board ( http://www.fishlore.com/Forum/index.php?topic=12673.0 ):

"Some plants such as Anubias, Java Fern, and Java Moss don't even need any gravel as they're tied to objects inside your aquarium (for example, tied to driftwood). You can use fishing line or black cotton thread to tie plants to various objects in your tank. These three plants are all low-light."
