is it safe to raise the temperature to upper 80s if you have plants in your tank

Question: is it safe to raise the temperature to upper 80s if you have plants in your tank? Currently I'm cycling with my temp at 80F but I'm worried that if I raise it any more it will kill my plants.

im not sure if plants are affected, enough to kill them, by temps...maybe you can check www.plantgeek.com ?
