..getting ready to try the TSS one more time. Im trying to get my 2 5G's in a proper cycle. My plan is for a small water change, to know where Im starting from, water conditioner, then the TSS.
The ammonia is a problem, don't know why. Im diligent with the partial wc, but 1 small betta in a small 5G, I don't understand why this ammonia keeps occurring and at such frequency.
Any suggestions before I begin again? thanks

Sounds like you have your bases covered from the last time you tried the TSS.
IMO I think with the low pH you have, and turning the ammonia to ammonium may end up starving the TSS, as Shawnie had found out when she did some research. The TSS may or may not work this time either, but without using the Prime like last time... hopefully you will find out if the TSS works with a low PH and knowing this will in the end help others with a low PH of 6.0-6.4 find out whether TSS can work for them as well.
