Question about Removing lavarock!!!!

I have about 70lbs of lavarock in my tank and I want to remove about 20-30lbs to make more room for the fishies too swin...Now the question is can I remove this much at one time with out crashing my cycle...Seeing there is alot on BB on the rocks or should I remove about 10-20bls at a time...It is a 75gal and been running for about a year set up in May 08 and I do have 2 cannister filters both running well...
Thank in advance Rob

I know the answer you just type to fast

you can remove them ...the filters will hold most of your bacteria and where you tank has been established so long, IMO you will be fine removing it ....but if you feel safer, remove half one week, then the other half the next
