I was wondering if anyone has ever used nutrafin cycle to help start a tanks nitrogen cycle, and if you have how were your results?

If you do a quick search on the forum you'll find plenty of info.
The consensus is that cycle contains the wrong kind of bacteria. It;s not self sustaining so it dies off quickly and you have to add it to your tank with every water change.
Personally, I wouldn't use it. I see you don't have fish so you could do a fish less cycle or try Tetra Safe Start. Several members have successfully cycled their tanks with it.

Welcome to the site. I use to use the cycle stuff then stopped using it about a month ago now, i think it might have prevented my tank from cycling quickly. If this is your first tank try fishless cycling, you learn a lot of stuff about the Nitrogen Cycle and about aquarium care without harming fish. Good luck to you.
