What about Sea Chem Stability,as an alternative to the TSS?

This should be a new thread, to avoid derailing this one yet again.

In short, TSS is the only one proven to work long-term. All others need continued redosing or your tank will crash.

How would that be a new thread ? If he can'tfind the TSS locally I've heard the stability is an alternative.

stability is more like cycle and stress zyme..it has to be added over a period of time instead of just once like TSS...the bacteria in stability isnt self sustaining and needs to be added at startup, then after a few days more, so the bacteria can catch up to the ammonia (its food source) then even once again for more added bacteria to catch up to more ammonia...
